"Before we went on vacation to Davao I had made arrangements in subscribing for Cignal Digital Cable for my mom’s house. I was lucky to make the application done here in Manila as I cut at least 50% of the coordination crap that they do for installation procedure. Since my mom has a traditional CRT TV which I actually gave her (handed-over) my brother and I who will be sharing the monthly expenses for the cable subsrciption decided to lease the kit and subscribe for Plan 390 + 100 for lease so thats Php 490 monthly. It has around 25 channels unfortunately Nat Geo is not included in the package which my brothers wouldve wanted. Well, anyway they will have it upgraded soon as they are ready. I am just happy that my mom would not have to endure the pain of poor TV signal because of the traditional antenna anymore."

Cignal Application Form And Requirements

Download the application form for new installation here and prepare the requirements needed for the Cignal plan you want to subscribe.


Before we proceed I want first to discuss the Terms And Conditions once you fill up the form and start using Cignal digital cable service.

• First there's a 24 months or two years lock in period.  Meaning you agree to pay for next two years for the cable service.  If for some reasons you don't want to continue, you will have to pay a reasonable fee for pre-termination.
• You will receive your Cignal Kit  for free(not for prepaid plan) including the satellite dish (antenna, mounting and pheriperals),set top box, RCA cable, 15 meters RG6 cable, remote control and Cignal card.
• There's a maintenance fee for every box installed in your home or business.  This is to ensure the warranty of your box.
• There's an installation fee of P1000.00 minimum and may change with the location and the materials will be used.
• For additional box, there's an installation fee of P500.00 if installed the same day your first box is installed.  Otherwise, you will be pay P1000.00 like a regular installation fee.

Postpaid Requirements

1. Completed Service Application Form - Download here or you could ask it from me.


2. Proof of Identification – must be standard and locally-issued with photo and signature

Examples of Valid IDs:

• Phil. Driver's License
• Passport with signature
• Locally issued credit card with picture
• SSS/GSIS/TIN ID (digitized card type)
• PRC/OFW/DIPLOMAT ID
• New Unified Multi-purpose ID
• Voter's ID (card type)
• Company ID
• Senior Citizen's ID

3. Proof of Billing


Billing address indicated on the Service Application Form must be consistent with the POB submitted. POB must be current.


Submit any of the following:

• Postpaid Mobile / Broadband Bill
• Credit Card Bill
• Electricity Bill
• Cable Bill
• Landline Bill
• Insurance Premium Bill
• Club Membership Bill

4. Proof of Income


Submit any of the following:

• Payslip
• Certificate of Employment
• Latest ITR
• OFW Allotmment/ at least 3 months of remittance slip
• SMART/Sun / Globe Postpiad SOA (mobile/mobile-data bundle)
• Credit Card SOA
• PLDT Landline/Internet/Bundle SOA
• Electricity Bill
• Cable Bill
• Non-PLDT Landline/Internet/Bundle SOA
• Bank Statement/ Passbook

For Prepaid plan please complete and prepare the following requirements.

• Submitted service application forms and required documents are subject for review and approval by Cignal TV, Inc.

Cignal Postpaid Plans

Cignal Postpaid plans are 490, 630, 830, 990, 1290 and 1590 all in HD. If you choose this plan you will get your Cignal kit for free. For the installation cost you will pay a minimum of P1000.00 and it may change depending on the location and materials needed.

As for plan 1290 and 1590 HD, installation cost is offered as discount. Another thing you should consider is if you will have two TVs you would like to add a second box during the installation. If you ask to install the second box not on the installation day you will pay for it at a regular price of P1000.00

Cignal Subscription Plan And Installation Cost

Cignal have 3 subscription plans you can choose from. Namely Postpaid or the Residential plan, Commercial plan and the Prepaid plan. Each have a corresponding cash out before your Cignal kit will be installed.


Cignal kit includes:

A. Satellite dish - Antenna, mounting and peripherals
B. RCA Cable
C. 15 meters RG6 cable
D. Remote control
E. Cignal Card

Learn each and every plan and decide which one you would like to subscribe. You should choose wisely like what channels you need most and consider your reserve monthly budget for your family entertainment.

The most basic is prepaid plan which your cable connection disconnect automatically once your load expire for one month. You could manage your budget using this connection because you can only watch Cignal cable TV if you have budget for a month. The only downside of choosing this plan is if you are in the middle of watching your favorite program and your load expire for that time period, you will miss it and you will have to rush to the convenience store just to load your Cignal and catch up with your movie.

Next to the Prepaid plan is the Residential or the Postpaid plan. Unlike the prepaid you will have a steady cable connection month after month because you are subscribe to a monthly connection. You will not experience any interruption in your connection and you could watch your favorite program without the fear of losing your cable connection because no load will expire or disconnection that would occur.
